Reza Heydat was born in 1966 in Kurdistan. Arbabali Sharveh, a well-known painter and sculptor, is Heydat’s uncle and has played a significant role in fostering his artistic interest. He taught at the University of Art and Azad University in Tehran while completing his master’s degree in 1998. Heydat’s works were selected for the exhibition “Nature from the Perspective of the East” in 2005. Among his international successes, he was selected for the Islamic World Biennial in 2006. Heydat has participated in over 30 group exhibitions and 14 solo exhibitions to date. His solo exhibitions have been held at the Asar, Shirin, Free Designers, Afrand, and Negar galleries. For years, Reza Heydat has been teaching art at art universities and schools and has also become a faculty member of the Sooreh University Faculty of Art in Tehran.
