خورشید گرفتگی نه گرفتاری در تاریکی، بلکه پا نهادن در مسیری نامشخص همچون بیابان است، به قصد گم شدن تا شاید امیدی دیگر در دنیای انسانی کشف شود؛ چرا که گویی طبیعت آخرین پناهگاه است. در این مجموعه در پی یافتن تصویری گمشده یا فراموششده از انسان بودم و راز آدمی را در سنگی رها شده از سینه کوه یا نسیمی حبس شده در بوتههای بیابان یا صدایی وانهاده در دل نیزار جستوجو کردهام. در همین راستا در این نقاشیها به دنبال چشمانداز متعارف از طبیعت نبودهام، بلکه میخواستم منظر خویش را در ایجاد موقعیت آشکار کنم.

A solar eclipse is not merely a struggle in darkness but a journey into the unknown, much like wandering through a desert. In this collection, I attempted to uncover a lost or hidden essence of humanity—metaphorically one that may be discovered within nature, whether in a solitary rock, a whispering breeze, or a reed. My goal was not to depict a traditional landscape but to express my unique vision and connect with the profound essence of the natural world.
